Job summary

Lumicera is seeking an Intake Specialist I to enroll new Specialty Pharmacy patients and ensure complete records, including demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities, and payer information.

You will place calls to patients and providers, obtain information, translate prescription data for dispensing, and assist with prior authorizations as needed. Remote, full-time position. Join a team that values compliance and patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• National CPhT and/or state registration/licensure is required per state of residence.
• Minimum two years of pharmacy support or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied hours; 8am–7pm Mon–Thu and 8am–6pm Fri.
• Comply with all laws and maintain high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Place phone calls to new and existing Specialty Pharmacy patients.
• Enroll patients into specialty services (care management, copay programs, billing).
• Answer inbound calls from patients and healthcare professionals.
• Contact doctors to obtain necessary information.
• Manage assigned workflow queues and document prescription order setup.
• Support pharmacy operations and assist other areas as needed.
