Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits. You will serve as a liaison between pharmacies, nurses, and patients, ensuring timely, accurate scheduling in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Using Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack, you’ll onboard patients, confirm logistics, respond to scheduling requests, and seek ways to improve workflows and the user experience for all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits and match nurses to patients.
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients.
• Onboard patients to Float Health platform.
• Confirm logistics and schedules for home visits.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Identify workflow improvements and provide process feedback.
