Job summary

Float Health is hiring an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits in a remote, US-based setting. You will liaise between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, ensuring timely staffing and accurate documentation while delivering empathetic customer service.

You will handle scheduling, communication across channels, and cross-functional collaboration to improve workflows and the overall user experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks.
• Typing 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving.
• Highly organized with strong time management.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits using Float Health platform and tools (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack).
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests; confirm logistics and schedules.
• Communicate clearly with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to complete visit documentation and tasks.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and learn new processes and technology continuously.
• Build positive relationships with specialty pharmacies and participate in pharmacy engagement tasks.
• Provide feedback to improve technology and processes.
