Job summary

Float Health, a fully remote healthtech startup, seeks an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits. You will liaise with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients using Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to ensure timely staffing and high-quality care delivery.

This role emphasizes rapid communication, meticulous organization, and exceptional customer service, with a 40-hour workweek aligned to PST and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple tech platforms simultaneously.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-of-care visits via Float Health platform and supporting tech.
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients; match nurses; onboard patients.
• Manage offers in the marketplace to ensure nurses are paid a fair rate.
• Confirm logistics and schedules for safe, seamless home visits.
• Respond to reschedule requests and communicate across channels (email, phone, chat, SMS).
• Cross-functionally work with internal teams in shared queues and Slack to ensure documentation.
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks; learn new processes and tech.
• Develop relationships with peers at pharmacies; assist with pharmacy engagement tasks.
• Provide feedback to improve technology and workflows.
