Job summary

Float Health in the United States is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate timely start-of-care visits. This remotely based role acts as a liaison between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients to ensure smooth care delivery and accurate documentation.

You’ll use Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to coordinate scheduling, onboarding, and visit documentation while delivering outstanding customer service and improving workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Typing speed of 60 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Highly organized with strong time management.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology beneficial.
• Infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Startup experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits using the Float Health platform and supporting tech.
• Collect information from pharmacies and patients and match nurses to patients.
• Onboard patients and confirm logistics for safe home visits.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in shared queues and Slack.
• Provide feedback to improve technology and processes.
