Job summary

Float Health is hiring a remote Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate timely start-of-care visits. You will liaise with pharmacies, nurses, and patients to ensure smooth staffing and accurate information flow.

You will use Zendesk, Google Suite, and Slack to onboard patients, schedule visits, and resolve issues with empathy. This full-time role follows PST hours and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to digest and explain complex information clearly to all users
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Float Health platform and supporting technology to coordinate start-of-care visits.
• Collecting information from pharmacies and patients and matching nurses to patients
• Onboarding patients to Float Health and confirming logistics
• Responding to restaff and reschedule requests
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure tasks are completed
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with peers at specialty pharmacies
• Provide feedback to improve our technology and processes
