Job summary

Float Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits. This externally facing role requires fast action, clear communication, and precise scheduling for urgent visits.

You will be a liaison between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, leveraging technology to ensure smooth staffing and care delivery. This is a fully remote US role with weekend availability and PST hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling.
• Ability to use multiple technology platforms at once.
• Eficient handling of inbound and outbound communications.
• Type at least 60 words per minute with accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent time management.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clear explanations.
• Able to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-of-care visits using the Float Health platform and tools.
• Match nurses to patients and onboard patients to Float Health.
• Manage offers to ensure nurses are paid a fair rate.
• Confirm logistics and schedules for home visits.
• Respond to restaff and reschedule requests promptly.
• Communicate with pharmacies, nurses, and patients via multiple channels.
