Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Understanding of insurance follow-up workflows.
• Proficient with telephone systems for outbound/inbound calls.
• Flexible, professional under pressure and able to learn multiple hospital systems.
• Must have a High School diploma and 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with MEDHOST or healthcare IT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review outstanding insurance balances and resolve claims.
• Verify payment status and rebill as needed.
• Gather demographics and insurance information to support payments.
• Prepare complex claims for reconsideration or appeals.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to resolve issues.
