Harris Computer, via MEDHOST, seeks an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. The role emphasizes research, payor coordination, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Remote position open to candidates across the United States. You will handle 40–50 accounts daily, learn multiple hospital systems, and participate in training and process improvement initiatives while using AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent diploma required.
• 3+ years' experience in related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Proficient with telephone systems for outbound/inbound calls.
• Knowledge of insurance payors and collection regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts.
• Learn multiple hospital systems and research complex claims.
• Work with third party payors to obtain information for resolving unpaid claims.
• Follow up 40–50 accounts per workday for assigned payor(s).
• Deliver education and training for new hires and assist less experienced reps.
• Perform research on patient accounts and route through appropriate workflows.
• Review and adjust accounts per payor and client guidelines.
• Attend role-based education courses and participate in projects.
