Harris Computer is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote role supports US-based facilities and involves researching claims, rebilling payors, and guiding workflows to resolve unpaid claims.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare revenue cycle, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn multiple systems.

Competenze

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes impacting insurance reimbursements.
• Proficiency with telephone systems for outbound/inbound calls.
• High speed internet and MFA-capable smartphone required.

Mansioni

• Timely follow-up on hospital patient accounts that are outstanding for insurance payment.
• Work 40-50 accounts per workday for assigned payor(s).
• Gather demographic, clinical and insurance information to pay claims and update systems.
• Identify and prepare less complex claims for reconsiderations and appeals.
• Deliver education and training for new hires and assist less experienced representatives.
• Perform research on accounts with outstanding balances and route them through workflows.
• Review and recommend adjustments per payor and client guidelines.
• Participate in projects to fulfill client contractual services.
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve issues and workflows.
• Maintain MEDHOST Quality Management System compliance as needed.
• Attend role-based education courses within the year.
• Assist leadership with special projects and stretch assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance payors and regulations.
