Harris Computer's MEDHOST division is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in the US and involves learning hospital systems, researching claims, and working with payors to secure payment.

Qualifications

• High-speed internet (>= 300 Mbps) required.
• Must have a smartphone for MFA authentication.
• 3+ years in a related healthcare revenue cycle field.
• Knowledge of insurance follow-up processes and reimbursement methods.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic business software.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on outstanding hospital insurance claims with timely research and resolution.
• Manage 40–50 accounts per workday for designated payors.
• Collect demographic/clinical data and update systems accordingly.
• Identify and prepare less complex claims for reconsiderations/appeals.
• Deliver training and guidance to new hires when needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve project issues and improve workflows.
