MEDHOST, now a Harris Computer company, is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote role requires learning multiple hospital systems and working with payors to secure payment while using AI-enabled tools responsibly.

The position handles 40-50 accounts daily, analyzes data, and participates in ongoing projects to improve reimbursement processes and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes affecting insurance reimbursement.
• 3+ years in a related field such as medical billing or follow-up.
• Proficiency with MS Office and communication tools.

Aufgaben

• Follow up on insurance balances and verify payment status.
• Rebill and adjust claims per payor requirements and guidelines.
• Gather demographics and authorizations to support claims.
• Identify eligibility for reconsiderations and appeals.
• Deliver training to new hires and assist peers as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve workflow issues.
