Harris Computer is seeking an Account Follow-up Representative II to review and resolve outstanding insurance balances on hospital patient accounts. This remote role welcomes candidates across the United States, with a focus on learning hospital systems and working with payors to resolve claims while using AI-enabled technologies.

You will handle follow-ups, data gathering, and research to support timely resolutions, collaborating with multiple teams and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout

Competenze

• High Speed Internet access (min 300 Mbps)
• Smartphone for MFA
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes
• Understanding of insurance follow-up processes
• Proficiency with telephone systems
• Flexible with a 'can do' attitude under pressure
• High School or equivalent diploma
• 3+ years' experience in related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Mansioni

• Follow-up on insurance payments for hospital accounts and verify payment status
• Handle 40–50 accounts per workday for assigned payors
• Gather and update demographic, clinical and insurance information
• Identify and prepare less complex claims for reconsiderations and appeals
• Deliver training and support to new hires
• Research accounts to route through the correct workflows
• Review and adjust accounts per payor and client guidelines
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve project issues
• Maintain MEDHOST Quality Management System and regulatory compliance
• Participate in role-based education and special projects
• Maintain knowledge of payors and reimbursement regulations
• Respond to emails, calls, and messages in a timely manner
