Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic training solutions for employees.

You will collaborate with SMEs to create objectives, assessments, and blended learning strategies, and advance best practices in instructional technologies. Required experience includes Articulate 360 and Storyline, plus strong adult learning knowledge and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 8+ years of equivalent experience in designing and developing e-learning, ILT, blended or performance support materials.
• Master's degree preferred in a related field.
• Five or more years in education or business environments.
• Three or more years Assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions and e-learning materials; includes Articulate 360 Suite.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Knowledge of Storyline or other authoring tools is required.
• Ability to work with clients and subject matter experts to develop training strategies.
• Knowledge of needs analysis and training/non-training requirements; intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning content and testing to support major training initiatives aligned with Ryder's goals.
• Consults with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives and evaluation strategies.
• Designs and develops learning project proposals.
• Ensures solutions match objectives and outcomes; communicates innovative ideas to gain consensus.
• Stays abreast of trends in learning methods and applies best practices.
