Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic learning solutions—ranging from eLearning to instructor-led and blended formats—aimed at enhancing Ryder employees' productivity.

Responsibilities include collaborating with SMEs to craft objectives, content, and evaluation strategies, and ensuring solutions align with goals and competencies. The role emphasizes applying best practices in adult learning and leveraging tools like Storyline

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, education, instructional design technology, education technology, or related area or minimum 8 years equivalent experience in designing and developing e-learning.
Master's degree preferred in related field.
Five or more years in education or business environment.
Three or more years in assessing, designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with Articulate 360 Suite.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies advanced.
Knowledge of Storyline is required advanced.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel intermediate.

Responsibilities

Creates learning content and testing to support major training and assessment initiatives.
Consults with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives, content, and evaluation strategies.
Designs and develops learning project proposals.
Ensures instructional design solutions match objectives and outcomes; communicates ideas effectively.
Stays abreast of emerging trends in learning methods.
