Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a skilled instructional designer to develop dynamic eLearning and blended training solutions that boost employee productivity. You will work with SMEs to craft objectives and effective learning strategies, design proposals, and deliver high-quality content on schedule.

The role requires expertise in adult learning, storyboarding, and tools like Articulate 360 and Storyline, with strong client communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, education, instructional design technology, education technology, or related area or 8+ years equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years in education or business environment.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and implementing learning solutions; experience with e-learning materials; Articulate 360.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Proficiency with at least one authoring tool such as Storyline.
• Ability to work with clients and SMEs to develop training strategies.
• Ability to analyze information to identify needs for training/non-training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create learning content and testing to support major training initiatives.
• Consult with SMEs and business owners to develop objectives and learning strategies.
• Design and develop learning project proposals.
• Ensure solutions align with objectives and desired outcomes.
• Stay current on emerging learning trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
