Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Biologics Testing unit to work remotely from a home office in the U.S. The role focuses on driving Biologics sales and serving as the primary contact for all sales inquiries, guiding customers to products and services that meet their needs.

You will manage opportunities, build relationships with existing customers, and prospect new leads while collaborating with Marketing to promote products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science or technical field required.
• 2+ years of successful sales experience with a technical life science product.
• Ability to grasp highly technical concepts and articulate them clearly.
• Outstanding listening, verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Salesforce/Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Biologics sales and close opportunities.
• Point of contact for all sales inquiries and outbound prospecting.
• Engage with existing customers and generate sales opportunities.
• Establish and grow new and existing customer accounts.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive product promotions and provide ROI feedback.
• Share customer problems with relevant departments for resolution.
• Attend tradeshows and coordinate events or presentations.
• Participate in Global Sales meetings as required.
• Complete all required sales documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain a CRM database with sales opportunities, stages, and customer data.
