Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) based in the United States for a full-time remote role. You will investigate and resolve both personal and commercial property losses, coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

You will communicate with policyholders by phone, manage multiple claims, and support catastrophe responses as needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as an inside property claims specialist or equivalent role within the insurance industry.
• A college degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, settlement techniques, and claims management practices.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial property insurance products, policy coverage, applicable legal developments, and claims-handling procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate claims thoroughly, assess documentation and damages, exercise sound judgment, and reach appropriate settlement decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build professional working relationships with policyholders, agents, contractors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple claims, monitor external service providers, meet productivity targets, and maintain accurate records.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain all required adjuster licenses, including passing applicable state licensing examinations within six months of hire.
• Ability to support catastrophe claims assignments when requested, including overnight travel or extended stays.
• Preferred: Experience handling commercial property claims.
• Preferred: Continuing insurance education through IIA, CPCU, or another accredited insurance education provider.
• Location requirement: reside in an eligible U.S. state; GA included.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and resolve property claims by reviewing personal and commercial losses, assessing coverage, estimating damages, negotiating settlements, and closing claims.
• Deliver customer-focused claims service by communicating with policyholders via phone and internal channels.
• Coordinate external claims support by assigning contractors and independent adjusters and reviewing their work for quality and timeliness.
• Assist resolution specialists with contents valuation and depreciation holdback calculations.
• Maintain compliance and documentation per established claims procedures.
• Meet productivity targets by closing an average of 70 claim elements per month (or 85 for contents-focused roles).
• Contribute to catastrophe response across the service territory, including overnight travel or extended stays when required.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriting, marketing, and other stakeholders across teams.
• Maintain required licenses and pass state licensing examinations within six months of hire.
