Job summary

Jobgether seeks an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) based in the United States. The role handles personal and commercial property losses, evaluating coverage and negotiating settlements via phone and remote channels.

You will collaborate with independent adjusters, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant claim resolution while delivering responsive customer service. Remote work flexibility is offered with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as an inside property claims specialist or equivalent role within the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, settlement techniques, and claims management practices.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain all required adjuster licenses, including state licensing examinations within six months of hire.
• Continuing insurance education through IIA, CPCU, or another accredited provider.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims for personal and commercial losses, including coverage assessment and damages estimation.
• Negotiate settlements and close claims while maintaining regulatory compliance and policy terms.
• Coordinate with independent adjusters and preferred contractors for field inspections and timely service.
• Support contents valuation, depreciation calculations, and other specialized tasks as needed.
• Follow established claims procedures for communication, coverage verification, loss investigation, and settlement.
• Meet productivity targets (70 elements per month; 85 for contents-focused roles).
• Support catastrophe claims operations including overnight travel or extended stays when requested.
• Collaborate with agents, underwriting, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
