Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) for a full-time remote role in the United States. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve both personal and commercial property losses, coordinating with independent adjusters and contractors to support accurate, timely claim resolution.

You will work with internal claims teams, follow policy coverage and regulatory requirements, and maintain solid service to policyholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as an inside property claims specialist or equivalent in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, settlement techniques, and claims management practices.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial property insurance products and policy coverage.
• Ability to investigate claims thoroughly, assess documentation and damages, and reach settlement decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to work with policyholders, agents, contractors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims, including personal and commercial losses, structural damage, contents, ALE, scheduled property, and business income.
• Communicate with policyholders by phone and other channels, explain decisions, and provide a professional claims experience.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for field inspections and external support.
• Assist resolution specialists with tasks like contents valuation and depreciation holdback calculations.
• Follow established claims procedures for communication, coverage verification, loss investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Meet productivity targets (70 claim elements per month; 85 for contents-focused roles).
• Support catastrophe claims operations across the service territory, including overnight travel when requested.
• Collaborate across teams with agents, underwriting, marketing, and colleagues.
