Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Property Claims Adjuster (Inside) in the United States for a fully remote role. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve property insurance claims via phone-based and remote channels, handling both personal and commercial losses including ALE and business income.

You will coordinate with independent adjusters and contractors, adhere to policy coverage and regulatory requirements, and support catastrophe claims as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as inside property claims specialist or equivalent in insurance.
• College degree or equivalent education in insurance or business.
• Knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Familiar with personal and commercial property insurance products and coverage.
• Ability to investigate, document damages, and reach settlements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple claims.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain adjuster licenses within six months.
• Ability to support catastrophe claims, including travel.
• Experience handling commercial property claims.
• Continuing insurance education through IIA, CPCU, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims including structural damage, contents, ALE, scheduled property, and business income.
• Deliver customer-focused claims service by phone and other channels.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for field inspections.
• Assist resolution specialists with contents valuation and depreciation holdback.
• Follow established claims procedures for coverage verification, valuation, and settlement.
• Meet productivity target of 70 claim elements per month (85 for contents focus).
• Support catastrophe claims across service territory, including overnight travel.
• Collaborate with agents, sales, underwriting, marketing and other stakeholders.
