Job summary

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline technical team on North America substations and coordinate with vendors and clients to deliver integrated electrical designs.

You will direct design deliverables, coordinate schedules and budgets, and ensure quality and safety across HV/EHV projects. A PE license and NA substation experience are preferred, with up to 20% travel and potential international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial or utility HV/EHV substation design.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (including international).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of AC power substation projects.
• Act as primary technical lead for scheduling, standards compliance, value engineering, design reviews, and budgeting.
• Develop and oversee design deliverables (diagrams, layouts, BOMs, studies).
• Serve as single point of contact between customers, vendors, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Drive cross-discipline coordination for fully integrated substations.
