United Grid Solutions is seeking a senior substation engineer to lead a design team in delivering safe, cost-effective electrical substations. You will supervise engineers, designers, CAD technicians and administrative staff while managing project schedules, scopes, and profitability.

The role requires PE licensure, 8–10 years in electrical utility substation design (69kV+ preferred), and experience with client relations, safety policies, and mentoring.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering; Electrical preferred.
• ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 7+ years of engineering practice; substation experience highly valued.
• P.E. licensure and multi-state registration preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide supervisory and engineering/technical leadership to the design team.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client deliverables.
• Direct billable project work and administrative leadership.
• Develop training, performance appraisals, and succession planning.
• Coach and mentor engineers, designers, and CAD staff.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards; maintain safety policies.
