Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Lead Secondary Engineer to guarantee design quality and on-time delivery for HV substations. You will lead the design of control, protection, distribution and monitoring systems, while ensuring compliance with standards and customer expectations.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of diagrams and documentation, and active support for procurement and testing activities. Remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in HV substations within project/EPC environments.
• 7+ years in energy, oil, or gas sectors.
• Travel up to 20% across MEA & Europe as required.
• Strong English and Turkish communication skills.
• Based in Ankara or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of control, protection, electrical distribution, telecom and monitoring for HV substations.
• Produce and review single line diagrams, schematics, protection systems and interlocks.
• Collaborate with engineers, support documentation, and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee integration of design, procurement support, and commissioning activities.
