Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Electrical Substation Project Engineer/NAM PEM to lead multidisciplinary teams in HV/EHV substation design and project delivery. You will oversee technical direction, design reviews, and coordination with customers, vendors, and project managers to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will also perform on-site design work as needed and support cross-discipline integration for large-scale electrification projects within GRID Solutions North America Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating technical design work.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (incl. international).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of AC power substation projects.
• Serve as primary technical lead for scheduling, standards compliance, and design reviews.
• Develop design deliverables: single-line diagrams, layouts, BOMs, studies and calculations.
• Interface with customers, vendors and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
