Job summary

CP1367 GE Grid Solutions, LLC in the North America region leads complex HV/EHV substation projects. The Senior Electrical Substation Project Engineer/Project Engineering Manager will serve as technical leader, directing multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating with vendors and customers, and ensuring compliance with standards while driving schedules and budgets.

You will perform design work, develop power single-line diagrams, equipment specs, and BOMs, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HV/EHV substation design projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and design reviews.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and technical risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of AC substation projects across teams.
• Prepare equipment specifications, BOMs, and design deliverables.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and engineers to meet CTQs.
