Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks a Supervising Engineer to oversee the detailed design of high voltage substation projects in the United States. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI and other standards. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, a P.E.

license, and a proven track record delivering complex HV projects. Travel up to 10–15% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• P.E. license required.
• Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI and related standards.
• Experience in high voltage substation design and project oversight.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage projects from inception to completion including planning, design, permitting, construction support and closeout.
• Supervise engineers, designers and staff, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
• Oversee preparation of engineering designs, specifications and plans for high voltage substations.
• Develop and manage project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure cost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards across projects.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures.
• Prepare detailed project status reports and engineering documentation.
• Evaluate engineering contractors and consultants; coach direct reports.
