Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS.

You will manage planning, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, procurement strategy, risk assessment, and client coordination through handoff. This fully remote role requires coordinating with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure successful execution and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or PM.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
