Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical projects, including substations, transmission lines, renewable energy interconnections, BESS, and industrial power distribution systems.

This fully remote role involves project planning, estimating, budgeting, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept through handoff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or PM.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for 12kV–500kV+ projects; manage planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews.
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates; review designs and bid documents.
• Serve as primary client contact; support proposals and kickoff meetings; align estimates with execution plans.
• Identify risks and lead constructability reviews; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Develop detailed project schedules with cross-functional teams; monitor milestones and long-lead equipment.
