Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This role is remote with heavy travel to diverse jobsites and requires safety-first work practices.

Responsibilities include documenting test results, coordinating with clients and teammates, and mentoring trainees. Candidates should have 1–3 years' experience and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time and work remotely on varied sites.
• Effective verbal and written English communications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate test reports and required documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and teammates; supervise technicians as needed.
• Complete a job with the assistance of Technicians and Trainees.
• Create and save test plans and review test results.
