Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 for work in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to various job sites.

Candidates should be prepared to engage in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting with a strong emphasis on safety. Responsibilities include documenting tests, coordinating with clients and team members, and producing comprehensive test reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• CPR/First Aid training and safety procedure knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment by following company safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate testing reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with technicians and trainees and review test results with clients.
