Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair in substations, BESS, and PV facilities. This is a remote role with heavy travel to various job sites, with details discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electrical testing experience preferred.
• 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel ~75% of the time; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning in substations, BESS, and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe work environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and reports.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports for performed work.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
