Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 for remote work with heavy travel to substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role emphasizes safety, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and reporting on high voltage equipment nationwide.

Responsibilities include performing tests, maintaining safety, documenting results, and coordinating with clients and teammates. Requires travel and ability to work in extreme conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 75% of time to various job sites.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety standards and procedures.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review a complete test report of the work supervised.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Handle multiple jobs simultaneously and manage test plans.
