Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS, and PV facilities.

This remote position requires substantial travel to diverse job sites and adherence to rigorous safety and quality standards. Applicants should have 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent requirement.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following company and industry safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review a complete test report of the work performed or supervised.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
