Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Human Centered Design & UX Analyst to support human-centered design and human factors engineering across VA Connected Health initiatives. The role entails eliciting user requirements, developing validated workflows, and creating low-fidelity prototypes for development teams.

Join a cross-functional sprint team and contribute to field studies, usability testing, and research reporting. This is a fully remote role with travel across the continental United States as needed.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of HCD and UX principles applied in professional settings.

Responsibilities

• Support HCD and HFE studies using interviews, focus groups, observation, usability testing.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze user research to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate recruitment and scheduling for VA participants, and prepare assessment plans.
• Maintain HCD artifacts like journey maps, personas, wireframes, and flows.
• Support accessibility conformance and VA Design System usage.
• Prepare meeting materials, research plans, and status reports.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, developers, and VA leads to refine strategies.
