Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Human Centered Design & UX Analyst to support usability research across VA Connected Health projects. You will work with a cross-functional team to elicit user requirements, develop workflows, and validate designs through prototypes and usability studies.

The role emphasizes accessibility, VA design systems, and collaboration with clinicians and VA leads. Fully remote within the United States, with travel for onsite research as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of work experience or commensurate experience.
• Experience applying human-centered design methods in professional settings.
• Ability to translate research into actionable design recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Supports HCD/HFE studies using interviews, focus groups, observation, and usability testing.
• Develops and maintains artifacts like journey maps, personas, and wireframes.
• Collaborates with VA leads and product teams to refine design strategies.
