Job summary

GovCIO seeks a Human Centered Design & UX Analyst to support human-centered design and user research across VA Connected Health initiatives. You will conduct interviews, usability testing, and journey mapping while aligning with VA Design System guidance.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of human-centered design and UX principles.

Responsibilities

• Supports HCD and HFE studies using interviews, focus groups, observation, and usability testing.
• Develops and maintains journey maps, personas, and wireframes.
• Prepares recruitment schedules and coordinates participation with VA leads.
• Ensures accessibility and conformance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.2.
• Collaborates with product owners, designers, developers, and VA leads to refine design strategies.
