Blackwell HR is seeking a hands-on HR professional for a full-time, W2 role based remotely in the US. You will support 6–8 client organizations, handling payroll, benefits, HR documentation, employee relations, and HR program projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in generalist/operations or client-facing roles.
• Experience supporting small business, nonprofit, startup, or lean HR team is a plus.
• Knowledge of core HR functions: payroll, benefits, onboarding, recruiting, employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Support 6–8 clients with HR needs across multiple industries.
• Process payroll for multi-state employees and contractors, including 1099s.
• Administer benefits enrollment and changes; maintain HR documentation.
• Create and maintain employee communications, policies, and notices.
• Support employee relations and guidance for HR principals on complex issues.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems and records; ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
