Job summary

Blackwell HR is a woman-founded HR consulting group offering full-time, W2 HR services to clients across the US. The role supports payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employee relations while handling client HR programs in a fully remote environment.

You will maintain HR documentation, respond to routine HR questions, and partner with HR Principals on complex cases. A bachelor’s degree and solid HR experience are preferred as you help improve HR processes for diverse organizations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in an HR generalist, operations, or client-facing role.
• Experience with payroll processing and HRIS systems.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for assigned clients across multiple states, including 1099 contractors.
• Create and maintain employee communications, policies, and HR documents for each client.
• Support employee relations and respond to routine HR questions; escalate complex issues to an HR Principal.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data, benefits records, and documentation for clients.
• Identify process improvements and help implement more efficient ways of working.
