Job summary

Blackwell HR is seeking a hands-on HR professional to support 6–8 clients across various industries. You will manage payroll, administer benefits, prepare HR docs, support employee relations, and help optimize client HR processes. This remote role offers exposure to different HR needs and opportunities to grow with experienced HR principals.

You should have 3+ years of HR experience, a bachelor's degree, and hands-on payroll/HRIS experience. ADP/Paylocity/Workday familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR experience, preferably in generalist/operations roles.
• Experience supporting small businesses or nonprofits is a plus.
• Working knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, recruiting, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for routine HR questions and client needs.
• Manage payroll processing for multiple clients including multi-state employees and contractors.
• Administer benefits enrollment and changes, and handle routine issues.
• Create and maintain employee communications, policies, and HR documents.
• Support employee relations, advising when escalation is needed.
• Assist with projects like recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and engagement.
• Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date data.
• Identify process improvements and help implement better workflows.
