Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive HR Coordinator for a fully remote role with a focus on employee experience and engagement. You will support onboarding to offboarding, maintain data integrity in HR systems, and contribute to DEI efforts while working with a distributed workforce.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and thrives in a remote-first environment. Knowledge of SA labor laws is a plus, with operational links to Upington, Northern Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, business, or related field.
• 1–3 years in an HR support role, focus on employee engagement/experience.
• Familiar with HR principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with remote teams and HRIS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
• Support onboarding and new-hire experiences.
• Respond to HR policy and benefits queries.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS.
• Coordinate training and development activities.
• Prepare HR communications and newsletters.
• Support HR policies and procedures.
• Contribute to DEI efforts.
• Assist HR reporting and data analysis.
• Support employee recognition programs and events.
