Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote HR Generalist to support a dispersed SA workforce. You will handle employee relations, recruitment support, performance management, and policy administration, ensuring compliance with South African labor laws.

The role is fully remote from anywhere in South Africa, with a focus on effective HR operations, record-keeping, and employee development in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 3–5 years generalist HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor law and HR practices.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment, HR admin.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers across departments.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Assist in talent acquisition processes: postings, screening, interviews.
• Support HR policies and procedures administration.
• Administer employee benefits programs and HRIS records.
• Facilitate performance management and employee development.
• Ensure compliance with SA labor laws and regulations.
• Produce HR training materials and support HR projects.
