Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Human Resources Specialist to join a fully remote team, supporting operations across South Africa. The role focuses on handling HR inquiries, policy administration, and contributing to HR projects for a dispersed workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive, autonomous work style, excellent virtual communication, and at least 3 years in HR with familiarity of HRIS systems and South African labor law. Remote work flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with remote work preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR principles and South African labor law.
• Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and standard office productivity software.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote HR support and guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Manage employee data and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality within the HRIS.
• Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Support the administration of performance management cycles and employee development initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations in a remote work context.
