Qualifications

About the Role Our client, a rapidly growing digital services company, is seeking a proactive and engaging HR Coordinator with a passion for Employee Experience. This is a fully remote position, allowing you the freedom to work from anywhere. The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring a seamless employee journey from onboarding to offboarding. You will be instrumental in executing programs that promote employee well-being and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a remote-first environment. This role is crucial for maintaining our client's vibrant culture as they expand, connecting with their distributed workforce, with operational links to the region of Upington, Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives and programs.
• Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a positive and informative experience.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems.
• Assist in the coordination of training and development activities.
• Help prepare HR communications and internal newsletters.
• Support the administration of HR policies and procedures.
• Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an HR support role, preferably with a focus on employee engagement or experience.
• Familiarity with HR principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative remote team.
