Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated HR Specialist for a fully remote role. You will support employees and managers across regions, manage recruitment, onboarding, policy interpretation, and HRIS administration.

The role suits a proactive self-starter with strong communication in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3+ years of broad HR experience, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a broad HR role, ideally with remote exposure.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and strong administrative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across virtual platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Proactive problem-solving and initiative.
• Knowledge of HR principles; SA labour law knowledge is a plus.
• Comfort working in a fully remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and managers in a remote setting.
• Manage full cycle recruitment administration: posting jobs, screening, coordinating interviews.
• Facilitate onboarding experiences for new hires virtually.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS with data integrity.
• Support HR projects and implementation of new HR technologies.
• Assist with basic employee relations queries and escalate complex issues.
• Contribute to development and improvement of HR processes for remote workforce.
• Ensure compliance with HR regulations applicable to remote employment.
