Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join a fully remote team in South Africa. You will provide strategic HR support, guide talent management, onboarding, and policy development while ensuring compliance with South African labour law.

The role requires 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage HR operations autonomously in a remote setting. Experience with HRIS and benefits administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices.
• Experience in talent management, employee relations, and HR project management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and management across departments.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
• Oversee employee relations and ensure fair resolution of issues.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labour laws.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Drive employee engagement and development initiatives.
• Analyze HR data and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
