Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to perform tenant file reviews and ensure income eligibility under 24 CFR Part 5. The role involves regulatory research, risk assessment, and timely, accurate completion of compliance engagements.

Responsibilities include client relationship development, meeting deadlines, and working in a team environment. Some positions may be remote or hybrid based on business needs; travel 25–35% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of relevant Section 42 experience focusing on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications (COS, HCCP) preferred; willingness to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate potential problem areas during engagements; recommend actions.
• Research federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings under supervision.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a deadline-driven environment.
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
