Novogradac is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to support Section 42 tenant file reviews with a focus on income eligibility under 24 CFR Part 5. The role requires judgment in interpreting regulations, identifying risk areas, and ensuring timely, accurate compliance engagements.

Openings across multiple cities, including Dover, OH, with potential remote or hybrid options based on business needs. Travel is expected domestically up to 25–35%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Section 42 experience with focus on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; COS/HCCP certifications strongly preferred; willingness to obtain certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports for designated clients, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory adherence.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate potential problem areas during engagements, recommending actions as appropriate.
• Conduct research related to federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings with supervisory guidance.
• Work within a deadline-driven environment with oversight to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Meet or exceed established file review productivity benchmarks.
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
