Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to review tenant files for Section 42 compliance with emphasis on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility. The role supports regulatory adherence, risk assessment, and timely completion of engagements.

Responsibilities include pre/post-occupancy reviews, researching applicable regulations, and maintaining productive client relationships. Some travel and occasional evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of Section 42 experience with focus on 24 CFR Part 5.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• COS or HCCP certifications strongly preferred; willing to obtain within one year.
• Knowledge of HOTMA and housing regulations; strong judgment and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports for designated clients.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate potential problem areas during engagements; recommend actions.
• Research federal and/or state compliance regulations and apply findings with supervisory guidance.
• Work in a deadline-driven environment to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Meet or exceed established file review productivity benchmarks.
• Develop professional client relationships through clear communication and follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
