Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to perform tenant file reviews and ensure income eligibility compliance under 24 CFR Part 5. The role supports multiple U.S. offices with potential remote or hybrid work based on business needs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Section 42 experience, familiarity with HOTMA, and a willingness to obtain required certifications. Strong communication and research skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3+ years of Section 42 experience focusing on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications encouraged or required within one year of employment.
• In-depth understanding of HOTMA and tenant file compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports for designated clients.
• Identify, analyze, and communicate potential problem areas during engagements and recommend actions.
• Conduct research related to federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings with supervisory guidance.
• Work within a deadline-driven environment to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Meet or exceed established file review productivity benchmarks.
• Develop professional client relationships and ensure follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
